1# Apple Apps: iWork

In this series I want to tell You about Apple apps for iOS. At the beginning I chose iWork apps known from Mac (Pages, Keynote and Numbers). So let's begin!

Pages
Pages is text editor which is really simple in use, has necessary tools to work with text. You can make your work quicker and easier using Pages - it's really great!

You can choose one of great templates like invitation, letter and others. You don't have to format your text to do something interesting. Just use template. It's really quickly to use them one thing you have to do is changing text.

Other great feature in Pages is iCloud. You can make documents on one device and they immediately downloads on your others so you can take your documents and make changes everywhere.

We can also choose from varied variety of  charts, shapes, tables, fonts and you can import your photos as well. Everything looks great in Pages.

Keynote
Keynote is an app to make presentations. It's my favorite iWork app because effect of our work is totally different (better) than on PC equivalent - PowerPoint like in Numbers but I don't use Numbers as often as Keynote.

That's really good app. When something takes me in PowerPoint 30 minutes to do, in Keynote the same activities take me less than 10 minutes. It's simple app but has lots of features which are awesome.

Like in Pages there are great templates to make presentations as we want it and has great animation effects which are thousand times better than in PowerPoint.

To show our presentations we can use Apple VGA Adapter which costs 69$ and presentations look awesome on projector and big screen. Also in Keynote when we plug VGA Adapter we have virtual laser pointer and it's so easy to show what we want to. Although making presentations is more comfortable on iPad, on iPhone 4S sight on VGA Adapter is smoother than on first generation of iPad.

Numbers

Numbers is an equivalent of Excel on PC and it's has features like Pages and Keynote but it's for making spreadsheets. Although it's an equivalent of Excel it doesn't look like Excel. It looks definitely different. We don't have to use ugly calls but colorful charts and tables and the effect of our work is amazing.

It's pretty easy to edit spreadsheets and add new data to documents. It just works! The feature that I liked much is checklist. iPad is the future of education and that would help teachers with checking attendance on lessons. Few clicks and that's it and with iCloud everything would be synchronized with other devices in school. (that's only example, it has lots of more applications)

ADVANTAGES/DISADVANTAGES OF PAGES, KEYNOTE AND NUMBERS:

+ Simply in use
+ It's worth its price
+ Templates
+ It doesn't take much time to do something interesting
- Could be more features (not as lot as in Mac version but more)
- You can't make Your own template

Price for each app: 9,99$

Rate: 9/10 Great!
